Fall Book Swap

Join us for a Book Swap! I’ve timed this event just before Labor Day on purpose to make sure you have a great new read for the long weekend!

How it works:  Bring a favorite book to swap and be prepared to share a little about why you liked the book. Each attendee will do the same. We'll take notes on the books that sound like a good fit for your future reads and then we will do a 'White Elephant' style book swap at the end! With a little luck, you just may go home with that book that's next on your Must Read list. At the very least, you'll leave with a new-to-you book, a list of tried and true books to read and a cute bookmark all while having a good time! 

NOTE: you will be swapping a book you already have for a new book. If you'd like to bring a book that is your fave, but you don't want to part with your copy, I recommend (and plan to do this myself) purchasing a separate copy from a local book store - like Miles Books in Highland ;) - or a used bookstore.

Each workshop ticket includes:

• Book recommendations from each of the attendees
• Fall reading list
• Bookmark
• Beverages + nibbles
• $5 gift card to use day of the workshop (a.k.a. a return of your $5 seat reservation)

Ticket:  Your book to swap (new or used) + $5 to reserve your seat. This will be returned to you in the form of a gift card to be used toward a purchase that evening.
